Terry Mood is one the athletes who helped Belhaven make the transition from club sports to true intercollegiate competition, playing basketball in 1961-63 for Coach McLeod, and in 1964 for Coach Charlie Rugg.

In his senior season the Blazers opened their new Heidelburg Gym, and made their mark by winning the Jackson City Championship 84-75 over Millsaps.

At the time of induction, Mood was an assistant supervisor with the Oxford School District.
