Hall of Fame
Martin Dyotte ranks among the greatest athletes in the history of Belhaven's successful tennis program. He was a key player in Belhaven's 1983 national championship team before capping off his career in 1985 by winning the NAIA singles championship. He was named an NAIA All-American for three consecutive seasons (1983, 1984, 1985).
In 1983, Dyotte teamed with Stephan Bonneauto to go 30-2 in doubles (best in school history), and the pair went on to win the NAIA doubles championship that season. Dyotte also finished runner-up in the NAIA singles championship in that campaign. Belhaven finished third nationally in Dyotte's junior and senior seasons.
At the time of induction, Dyotte was the head tennis pro at Brookhaven Country Club.
