“Last season Korey took a lot of people by surprise, especially early in the season. Since he was a newcomer to Belhaven and the league he was an unknown. By the end of the year everyone in our league knew who he was. He was named to the All Conference Team at the end of last season and was a Pre-Season All Conference pick this year.

Every practice Korey comes to work and really sets the tone for our team. He spends a lot of time in the gym on his own working on his jump shot and his free throws. He seems to never get tired and has a real love for the game.

His energy is contagious for our guys and hopefully it will rub off on our younger players.

In the classroom Korey does an excellent job and I think he will be fantastic in the Television and Broadcasting profession. He has already done some internship’s in the business so he has a good feel for how the career will work. His outgoing personality and desire to do his best give him the chance for a bright future. One day we are going to look up and see Korey working for ESPN or one of the other big Networks. I think he has that much potential. I am glad Korey has been able to be a part of this program because he has been a good example on what it takes to be a good player and how diligent you must be with your school work.”
