MEMPHIS, Tenn. - The Belhaven Cross Country program made the trip to Memphis on Saturday to compete in the Rhodes Cross Country Invitational where both teams would place 12th overall.

On the Women's side, Ashley Davidson once again set the tone for the Blazers as she finished with a team-leading time of 21:24.1 which put her just outside the top half finishers. Jocelyn Belonga was the next closest runner on the day with a time of 25:03.6.

For the Belhaven Men, freshman Max Bowling was the lead runner as the first-year Blazer turned in a time of 29:57.7 in the 8000 Meter race. Veteran runner Garrett Masters was next up for Belhaven on the day with the senior posting a time of 30:39.5.

Next up for the Blazers is their home meet, the Belhaven Invitational, which is set to take place at Choctaw Trails on Saturday, October 4th.
