JACKSON, Miss. – Junior runner Hunter Magno-Hester was tabbed as C Spire Athlete of the Week following his performance at the Mississippi College Invitational in Clinton, Miss this past Saturday.
 
The Mississippi College Invitational was composed of Division I, II, and III talent, as Magno-Hester finished with a time of 29:02.4, which was a personal best in the 8K race.
 
The Brighton, Tenn. native finished led the men's cross country team in back-to-back meets.
 
Magno-Hester and the rest of the Blazers will return to the course on November 2^nd when both cross country teams compete in the American Southwest Conference Championship in Abilene, Texas. McMurry University will be the host of the Championship.
