ATLANTA, Ga. - Neal Terry and
Kenneth Mills picked up Collegiate Conference of the South (CCS) weekly honors following standout performances at the Rhodes 7-Way Meet.
Terry was named CCS Male Field Athlete of the Week, while Mills earned CCS Male Track Rookie Athlete of the Week.
Terry added another chapter to an already decorated career with a dominant day in the jumps. The senior swept both events, opening with a win in the long jump at 7.31 meters. The mark set a new program record and is tied for the fifth-best jump in NCAA Division III this season.
He followed that with another first-place finish in the triple jump, posting a mark of 14.47 meters to cap a clean sweep.
The honor marks the fifth CCS Field Athlete of the Week selection for Terry, a two-time CCS Male Track & Field Athlete of the Year who continues to deliver at a high level in his final season after a successful season for the Blazers Basketball team that saw him earn 2025-26 All-CCS Second Team and 2026 CCS Tournament All-Tournament Team honors.
Mills kept his momentum going on the track with another strong showing in the sprints. The freshman claimed first place in the 100 meters with a time of 11.03 seconds, securing his second straight win in the event.
He also played a key role in Belhaven's 4x100 relay, running a leg on the winning team that finished in 42.32.
Mills has now earned four CCS weekly honors this season, including two Field Rookie of the Week selections and one Field Athlete of the Week nod. He has collected three of the four CCS weekly awards in his first collegiate season.
Terry, Mills and the Blazers Track & Field teams will participate in the CCS Track & Field Championships hosted at Belhaven next Tuesday.
