JACKSON, Miss. - Belhaven junior forward Brandon Pressley has been selected as the C Spire Athlete of the Week following his performance on the hardwood this past week against Rhodes College.

Pressley poured in 20 points on 10-13 shooting versus the Lynx on Wednesday, Nov. 23. The Washington, D.C. native also collected 17 rebounds, which is the seventh highest single game total in program history. In addition, Pressley dished out four assists.

The Blazers scored 111 points versus Rhodes, the sixth most in program history and the most since joining NCAA Division III. The Green and Gold's 32 assists in that contest is tied for the third highest total in school history.

For the season, Pressley is averaging 16.5 points and 11 rebounds per game while shooting 70% from the floor.

Belhaven returns to action on Thursday, Dec. 1, traveling to Austin, Texas to face Concordia University Texas at 7:30 p.m.
