One of this week's Blazer Athletes of the Week is Greg Hartley of the men's soccer team. Hartley, a junior from Manchester, England, allowed only one goal and made 12 saves en route to his 11th and 12th wins of the season. Hartley has 49 total saves on the season and has allowed only eight goals so far in 2011. Hartley has nine shutouts to his credit including a 3-0 victory over Faulkner. Hartley’s four saves helped hold William Carey to one goal making it only the fourth time this season the Crusaders were limited to just one score in a match. Hartley is currently sixth in the nation in goals against average at .540 per contest. He was also named the SSAC and NAIA Defensive Player of the Week.
