Belhaven University Athletics

One of this week's "Cellular South Athletes of the Week" is Christina Jaques of the Blazers softball team. Jaques, a senior from Orange, TX, helped lead Belhaven to four more wins this past week including two key Southern States Athletic Conference wins over 22nd ranked Auburn University-Montgomery. Jaques had 10 hits in 15 at bats with 6 RBI's, six runs scored, and five stolen bases. Jaques also had four extra base hits including three doubles and a triple. Jaques is third in the NAIA in total hits with 55 and is fourth in the NAIA in stolen bases with 29. Jaques is hitting .451 with six home runs and 39 runs batted in.
