ROBINSONVILLE, Miss. - The Belhaven Men's Golf team finished seventh at the 2026 Rhodes Fall Invitational after completing the 54-hole tournament Monday at Tunica National.

The Blazers recorded a three-round total of 893 (+29) on the par-72, 6,995-yard course. Belhaven opened with a 290 (+2), followed with a 305 (+17) during this weekend's 36-hole slate and closed the tournament with a 298 (+10) on Monday.

Belhaven finished just one stroke behind sixth-place Centre and two shots back of the tie for fourth. Host Rhodes won the 11-team event with an 866 (+2).

Junior Drew Groscost led the Blazers individually, finishing 10th with a 219 (+3). Groscost posted rounds of 73, 72 and 74, playing the final 36 holes at two over par.

Junior John McIntosh finished one stroke behind Groscost in a tie for 11th. McIntosh rounded out the tournament with matching one-under rounds of 71, finishing at 220 (+4) following a second-round 78. 

McIntosh and junior Whitt Welch paced Belhaven during the opening round with matching 71s. Groscost added a 73, while junior Schaefer Doane supplied a 75 to complete the Blazers' two-over team round.

Groscost led the way with an even-par 72 during the second round. Welch followed with a 77, while McIntosh and Doane each recorded a 78. Belhaven completed Sunday's 36 holes at 595 (+19).

McIntosh returned to red figures in Monday's final round with another 71. Groscost contributed a 74, senior Jordyn Raymond improved by 10 strokes from the second round with a 76, and Welch added a 77 to give Belhaven a closing 298.

Welch finished tied for 21st at 225 (+9) after rounds of 71, 77 and 77. Doane tied for 37th at 231 (+15), while Raymond tied for 59th at 246 (+30).

Freshman Parker Church, competing as an individual, produced Belhaven's lowest round of the tournament Monday. Church carded three birdies against one bogey for a two-under 70, moving 15 places up the leaderboard and into a tie for 15th at 222 (+6). 

Sophomore Blake Broussard also competed individually and finished 61st with a total of 251 (+35).

Belhaven led the entire field in par-3 scoring, playing the short holes at a 3.15 average and nine over par. Groscost placed third individually on the par 3s with a 2.92 average, while Welch tied for fourth at even par.

McIntosh led the Blazers with 13 birdies, tied for fifth most in the field, and ranked sixth in par-4 scoring at 4.10. Groscost added 12 birdies and tied for eighth in par-5 scoring, playing those holes at four under par. As a team, Belhaven accumulated 42 birdies and 146 pars during the tournament.
