JACKSON - The Belhaven Athletics department is proud to announce the Blazers' 2026 Hall of Fame class. This year's class is comprised of five former student-athletes representing four different athletics' programs at Belhaven. This year's honorees will be inducted into the Belhaven Athletics Hall of Fame on Saturday, October 24th as part of this year's Homecoming festivities. 

The Belhaven Athletics Hall of Fame Class of 2026 is as follows: 

Tom Cosgrave, Men's Soccer

Tom Cosgrave was a standout student-athlete and leader of the Belhaven Men's Soccer program from 2009-12, during one of the most successful periods in their strong history. A talented defender, Cosgrave played for the Blazers for four seasons with his time highlighted by captaining the Blazers to a 2012 NAIA Men's Soccer National Championship, the second national championship in the program's history. In that 2012 season, Cosgrave was named an NAIA All-America Honorable Mention and All-SSAC First Team selection. His performances in the NAIA National Tournament also earned him a spot on the All-Tournament Team while being named the Defensive Player of the Tournament.

Daniel Prado, Men's Tennis

Daniel Prado was a two-sport athlete for Belhaven from 2011-15, competing for both Belhaven Men's Tennis and Belhaven Men's Soccer with his tennis career earning him a spot in the 2026 Hall of Fame class. Prado was one of the Blazers' top players during his career compiling a 38-13 singles record and 43-19 doubles record across his tenure. Prado helped lead hte Blazers to four NAIA National Tournament appearances and was named an NAIA All-America Honorable Mention selection in 2014. Prado was also named an All-SSAC selection three times during his Men's Tennis career. After his playing career, Prado also spent time as Belhaven's Head Men's & Women's Tennis coach, leading both teams to the 2017 NCCAA Mideast Regionals.

Julienne Broussard, Softball

Julienne Broussard was a star player for the Belhaven Softball program from 2015-16, helping lead the program during it's transition from NAIA to NCAA affiliation. Broussard helped lead the Blazers to a runner-up finish in the 2016 NCCAA World Series while earning NCCAA All-America honors in the same season. The Louisiana native was twice named an NFCA All-Region selection and in 2015, was named to the All-SSAC First Team. Broussard holds the program's career record for batting average against at .169 and sits second in program history for career ERA at 1.49 across her two seasons.

Paul Warren, Baseball

Paul Warren was an impact two-way player for Belhaven Baseball from 1987-89 and set some of the highest offensive marks in program history during his time with the Green & Gold. Warren's career culminated in him holding a place in the top five in career batting average in program history with his .407 career mark ranking 4th all-time. He also ranks top 10 all-time in career pitching starts highlighting his ability to impact both sides of the game. Warren's best season came in 1989 when he hit .453 with 10 home runs and was named the GCAC Player of the Year. His .453 average in 1989 ranks as the second-best single-season mark in program history.

Larkin Braxton, Baseball

Larkin Braxton joins Paul Warren in representing Belhaven Baseball in this year's Hall of Fame class. Braxton was a dominant left-handed pitcher for the Blazers from 2004-07 and ranks among the top five in numerous career pitching categories for the Blazers. Braxton ranks 2nd all-time in pitching wins with 26, 2nd in strikeouts with 273 and t-2nd in shutouts with five in his career. He also ranks top 10 in innings pitched, appearances and complete games in his career while also ranking as just one of five Belhaven pitcher's all-time to strikeout over 100 hitters in a single-season. The 2006 season saw Braxton help lead the Blazers to a GCAC Championship and earned Braxton an All-GCAC nod.

The five individuals who comprise the 2026 class were selected based on nominations received, and voted on, by the Blazers' Hall of Fame committee. Student-athletes are eligible for nomination after five years have passed from the expiration of their playing careers.
