JACKSON, Miss. - Ciaran Colvin of the Belhaven Men's Soccer team and Alyssa Wilson of the Belhaven Women's Soccer team have been named C Spire Athletes of the Week following standout performances for the Blazers from last Wednesday through this past Tuesday.

Colvin, a junior defender from New Port Richey, Florida., registered a goal and an assist in last weekend's 4-2 win at Hendrix. He appeared in three matches last week, tallying 180 minutes on the pitch.

LaCour, a sophomore defender from Greenwell Springs, Louisiana, scored a goal and added an assist in last week's 4-1 win in their CCS opener over LaGrange.

Colvin and the Blazers head north for a midweek match at Rhodes today at 4:00 PM, before returning home for their CCS opener vs. LaGrange on Saturday. Wilson and the Belhaven Women's Soccer team head to Georgia for two conference matches, first at Agnes Scott on Thursday and Piedmont on Saturday.
