ATLANTA, Ga. - Belhaven Men's Track & Field put together a strong showing at the 2026 Collegiate Conference of the South Championships, with several Blazers earning All-Conference recognition.
Kenneth Mills led the way for Belhaven, earning First Team All-CCS honors in the high jump. Mills cleared 1.92 meters to claim the conference title, capping a steady season in the event. He opened the year with a season-best 2.05 meters at the Belhaven Invitational and followed it with multiple first-place finishes, including clears of 1.88 and 1.90 meters during the outdoor campaign. Mills also contributed on the track, placing second in the 100-meter prelims at the conference meet with a time of 11.00 seconds.
Neal Terry turned in one of the top all-around performances in the conference, earning First Team All-CCS honors in both the long jump and triple jump while also competing as part of Belhaven's relay group. Terry captured the conference title in the long jump with a mark of 7.19 meters and followed with another title in the triple jump at 15.11 meters.
Alex Reed picked up a pair of All-Conference honors, earning Second Team recognition in the long jump and Third Team honors in the triple jump. Reed placed second in the long jump at the conference meet with a mark of 7.00 meters and added a third-place finish in the triple jump at 13.44 meters. He showed steady improvement throughout the season, including a 7.01-meter jump at the Southern Miss Invitational and strong finishes across multiple meets.
Damian Sidelien rounded out Belhaven's All-Conference performers with a Second Team selection in the 400-meter hurdles. Sidelien placed second at the CCS Championships with a time of 59.35 and consistently competed near the top of the field throughout the year. He picked up event wins earlier in the season, including a 1:02.20 at the Belhaven Mid Week Challenge, and added a first-place finish in the 110-meter hurdles at the same meet. Belhaven Track & Field put together a strong showing at the 2026 Collegiate Conference of the South Championships, with several Blazers earning All-Conference recognition behind consistent performances throughout the spring.
The Blazers also earned Third Team All-Conference recognition in both the 4x100 and 4x400 relays after competing in each events for the first time at the CCS Championships.
Drew Duckworth earned an All-Sportsmanship nod for the Blazers.
