DALTON, Ga. - Belhaven Men's Golf wrapped up its season Wednesday at the CCS Championship, finishing seventh after three rounds at Dalton Golf & Country Club.
The final round was played in tough conditions with weather rolling through for much of the day, and scores across the board reflected it. Belhaven handled it better late, putting together a more controlled round to close the tournament.
John McIntosh led the way with a 74 (+2), one of the better rounds in the field on a difficult day. His score was tied for eighth overall in the final round, and it pushed him up to a 14th-place finish. He stayed steady fthroughout most of the round with multiple birdies on the front-nine.
Gannon Williams came in with an 80 (+8) to finish 28th, while
Andrew Scherer posted an 81 (+9) to place 27th.
Levi Turner shot 84 (+12) and finished 29th, and
Andrew Rogers carded an 86 (+14) to finish 35th.
