JACKSON - Emma Antonoplos of the Belhaven Women's Soccer team and Matt Smith of the Belhaven Men's Soccer team have been named the C Spire Athletes of the week following their strong performances in competition for the Blazers this past week.

Antonoplos recorded her first multi-goal match of the season while also picking up an assist in a 4-0 conference win over Huntingdon. She has the second-most points in the Collegiate Conference of the South this season with nine.

Smith scored the lone goal in the team's 1-0 win vs. Lyon last Friday, converting off a rebound on a penalty kick for the decisive goal.

Antonoplos and her team are set to host Piedmont this Saturday at 2:00 PM, while Smith and the squad travel to LaGrange to take on the Panthers in the team's conference-opener on Saturday. Kickoff is set for 2:00 PM.
