JACKSON, MISS. — Allie Dahlman of the Belhaven Volleyball team and Tre Chaffier of the Belhaven Football team have been named the C Spire Athletes of the week following their strong performances in competition for the Blazers this past week.

Dahlman was instrumental in the team's success this past week, where they won two of their last three matches. She recorded double-doubles in each of the two wins this week, totaling 46 assists and 20 digs. Dahlman led the Blazers with 23 digs in their five-set thriller win over MUW on Tuesday.

Chaffier was a difference-maker on the line of scrimmage vs. Millsaps, registering six tackles with three of those tackles for loss and two sacks. He surpassed his season-total of tackles-for-loss from the 2024 season in just one game, while matching his sack total from last season as well.

Dahlman and her team travel to Millsaps for a match tonight at 6:00 PM and return home for two more matches on Saturday at 10:00 AM and 2:00 PM.

Chaffier and the squad head to San Antonio, Texas to take on Trinity (TX) on Saturday where kickoff is set for 6:00 PM.
