MEMPHIS, Tenn. -
Andrew Scherer and
Ashton Anderson lead the Belhaven Golf team through the opening two rounds of the Rhodes Spring Classic hosted at Mirimichi Golf Course in Tennessee.
Scherer and Anderson both sit t-20th overall among individuals through 36 holes with identical +12 scorecards so far. Scherer gained a stroke on Anderson in the second round of the day by turning in a 77 (+5) including a birdie on the Par 3 8th hole.
Gannon Williams sits 40th among individuals bouncing back after an opening round 83 (+11) to shoot a second round 79 (+7). As a team, the Blazers sit 8th overall and are two shots up on 9th place Bryan.
The Blazers will tee off tomorrow at 8:30 AM for the third and final round of the tournament.
