ATLANTA, Ga. - Belhaven Men's Soccer sophomore center back Ciaran Colvin has been named the Collegiate Conference of the South (CCS) Defensive Player of the Week, the league office announced on Tuesday.

Colvin anchored the Blazers' back line during a strong 2-1 week that included a pair of conference victories. He helped lead a Belhaven defense that posted a shutout in a key CCS matchup against Huntingdon, controlling the defensive third and limiting quality chances throughout the match.

His performance helped the Blazers continue their strong conference start and improve their overall record to 6-3-3 on the season.

This marks the first weekly conference honor of the season for Colvin and second-career honor, having won the same award Oct. 23, 2024.

Colvin and the Blazers head across town to take on Millsaps tomorrow. Kickoff is set for 6:30 PM.
