JACKSON - Rylee White (Malvern, Ark.) of the Belhaven Volleyball team and Adrian Sanchez (Rio Grande, P.R.) of the Belhaven Men's Soccer team have been named the C Spire Athletes of the week following their strong performances in competition for the Blazers this past week.

White had a career-best seven blocks on Wednesday vs. MUW. She set a career-best with 11 kills last Saturday vs. Piedmont and has dougle-digit kills in consecutive games for the second time in her career.

Sanchez has a point in three straight matches, including his first goal of the season last Saturday at LaGrange. It's the second-longest point streak by a Blazer this season when Wesley Bloodworth scored goals in four consecutive matches earlier last month.

White and her team are set to host a CCS doubleheader this weekend vs. Asbury at 12:00 PM and Agnes Scott at 4:00 PM.

Sanchez and the squad host Maryville on Saturday for Senior Day. Kickoff is set for 3:30 PM.
