ATLANTA, Ga. - The Collegiate Conference of the South (CCS) announced its 2025 Men's Soccer All-Conference awards, with seven Belhaven student-athletes receiving honors following a standout regular season that saw the Blazers post a 9-5-4 overall record.
All-CCS First Team- Danny Bahena
Goalkeeper | Senior | Houston, Texas
Senior goalkeeper
Danny Bahena headlined Belhaven's selections, being named CCS Goalie of the Year for the second consecutive season. He was also named to the All-CCS First Team, marking the second straight year he earned both league honors.
All-CCS First Team- Ciaran Colvin
Defender | Sophomore | New Port Richey, Florida
Joining Bahena on the All-CCS First Team was sophomore defender
Ciaran Colvin, who earned his second consecutive First Team honor. A stalwart on the back line, Colvin appeared in 17 matches and contributed on both ends of the pitch, scoring two goals and adding an assist. His consistency anchored a Blazers' defense that posted seven clean sheets and held opponents to under nine shots per game.
All-CCS Second Team- Courtland Williams
Forward | Junior | Lafayette, Louisiana
Courtland Williams earned his second consecutive Second Team selection after finishing tied for the team lead with four goals while adding one assist. The junior forward netted two game-winning goals and ranked among Belhaven's most consistent offensive threats.
All-CCS Second Team- Avery Anders
Midfield | Senior | Clarkdale, Mississippi
Avery Anders received his first All-Conference recognition following a breakout senior season in the midfield. Anders tallied four goals and two assists while ranking top-five on the team in both total shots (34) and points (10).
All-CCS Second Team- Matt Smith
Midfield | Senior | Laurel, Mississippi
Matt Smith also collected his first All-CCS honor after serving as one of Belhaven's primary facilitators in the midfield. The senior posted one goal and a team-high four assists while also anchoring the base of the Blazers' midfield.
All-CCS Second Team- Caleb Drake
Defender | Junior | Plano, Texas
Caleb Drake earned his second consecutive Second Team selection, anchoring the Blazer defense with strong marking and tactical discipline. The junior defender started 15 matches and helped limit opponents to just 19 total goals in 17 matches.
All CCS Sportsmanship Team- Carlos Loza
Midfield | Senior | Madison, Alabama
Rounding out Belhaven's honorees, senior midfielder
Carlos Loza was selected to the CCS Sportsmanship Team, recognizing his leadership, integrity, and commitment to representing the Blazers with class on and off the field.
The Blazers closed the 2025 regular season campaign with one of the top defensive units in the CCS, posting seven shutouts, conceding just 1.06 goals per match, while out-shooting opponents 291-152 across 18 contests.
