JACKSON - The Belhaven Volleyball team is set to open conference play on Saturday as they host LaGrange College in Rugg Arena at 1:00 PM.

The Blazers, who are coming off a straight sets victory over Tougaloo in their home opener this week, are looking to start conference play off on the right foot Saturday as they host a Panthers' team that is coming off a tough stretch of five straight match losses.

Belhaven had the better of the matchup last season winning both ends of the conference home-and-home without dropping a set. Since the creation of the CCS ahead of the 2022 season, the Blazers are 3-1 against the Panthers overall.

The Blazers will be led by C Spire Athlete of the Week Megan LaCour who led the team with a match-high nine kills and a joint team-high eight digs in the win over Tougaloo on Wednesday. The win over the Lady Bulldogs was a team performance as well with nine different players recording a kill and 10 different Blazers' helping out with digs defensively.

The match against LaGrange is set for 1:00 PM in Rugg Arena.
