MARSHALL, Texas - The Belhaven Men's and Women's Cross Country teams competed in their third event of the fall on Saturday, this time in the ETBU Tiger Invitational. The Blazers placed 3rd in the event with 81 points.
Taylar Fakes led the Belhaven Women with a time of 29:10.30 to record a top-10 finish.
Myisha Turner finished 13th, clocking in at 29:44.30.
Ashley Davidson came in 15th after recording a time of 30:46.90.
In the Men's race,
Garrett Masters and
Andrew Duckworth finished back-to-back with times of 29:38.70 and 29:42.20, respectively.
Theodore McCarty notched a top-20 finish after finishing at 31:00.60.
Silas Childress clocked in at 32:02.60, while
Donovan Hurst recorded 32:27.80 to round out the Blazers' contingent.
Belhaven is set to return to action in the MC Watson Invitational next Friday, October 13th.
