JACKSON, Miss. - The 2022 Men's and Women's Cross Country Schedule was released on Monday. The Blazers will run in four regular season meets and will then run in the Collegiate Conference of the South Championships. 

This fall will mark the first season under new Head Coach Butch Ard after spending 17 years as Head Coach of Track & Field and cross country program at Mississippi College. During his tenure at MC, he collected nine conference championships and coached 27 All-Americans.

The Blazers will travel to Memphis, Tenn. to compete in the Rhodes Invitational on September 17th to open the 2022 season and will then run at the Mississippi College Watson Invitational in Clinton, Miss. at Choctaw Trails on September 24th.

On Friday, September 30th, the Blazers will compete at the Huntingdon Invitational, hosted by Huntingdon College in Montgomery, Ala. The Blazers will then turn their attention to their final meet of the regular season at the Mississippi College Fall Festival in Clinton, Miss. at Choctaw Trails. 

Finally, on Saturday, October 29th, the Green and Gold will run in the newly-formed Collegiate Conference of the South Championships in Grady, Ala.
