CLINTON, Miss. - The Belhaven University Cross Country teams competed in the Watson Invitational, hosted by Mississippi College on Saturday morning.  

On the women's side, Francie LeDuff was the only competitor for the green and Gold in the 6K. LeDuff finished the race with a 28:29.7 for a new personal best in the 6K.  

On the men's side, Belhaven Duo made up of Theodore McCarty and Charles Walker was the only competitors for the Blazers in the 8K. Theodore McCarty finished first for the Green and Gold with a time of 29:50.5, which was a personal best for him. Charles Walker crossed the finish line at the 36:13.5 mark for the Blazers to round out the scoring.  

The Blazers will return to the course on Saturday, October 30 in the ASC Championships in Clarksville, Ark. This year's championship will be hosted by the University of the Ozarks Eagles.
