RICHARDSON, Texas – Belhaven runner Frances Knight was named the ASC Track and Field Athlete of the week, following her performance over the weekend at the UAB Blazer Invitational and Vulcan Invite.
 
Knight ran in the 60m dash at the UAB Blazer Invitational and finished with a time of 8.38 seconds, which ranks her 8^th in all of Division III. She also competed in the 4x400 relay at the Vulcan Invite and as a team Belhaven finished at the 4:21.63 mark.
 
The Blazers will return to action on Saturday, January 23 in Birmingham, Ala. for the Samford Invite, hosted by Samford University.
