JACKSON, Miss. – Due to the cancellation of the spring sports season, Belhaven is spotlighting our spring senior class over the next few weeks. Tommy McCoy, a standout athlete on the Track and Field team will be the first athlete that will be spotlighted.
 
Tommy McCoy earned a first place finish in the Triple Jump at William Carey Qualifier this season on February 22, 2020. With the jump, he etched his name in the School Record book with a distance of 47' 1" (14.35m).
 
The Woodville, Miss. native registered his best High Jump at the American Southwest Conference Championships on April 19, 2019. McCoy posted a 5' 5.75" (1.67m) jump to give him an 8^th place finish in the event.
 
The senior posted a jump of 20' 3.75" (6.19m) in the Long Jump against Division I, II, and III athletes at the Southern Miss Open on April 27, 2019. With the jump, he earned his best finish in the LJ.
