CLINTON, Miss. - The Belhaven Men's and Women's Cross Country teams participated in the 2019 Major Cross Country Invitational at Choctaw Trails on Saturday.

Both teams competed well at the event hosted by Millsaps College. The Belhaven men's team finished 2nd in the event posting a total time of 1:34:50.19. The Blazer men were led by Hunter Magno-Hester who posted a time of 18:15.51, the 9th best time among individuals. Rick Hodum finished the event with the 11th best individual time of 18:31.28 on Saturday. Matthew Taylor finished right behind Hodum with a time of 19:09.08. The women were led by Francie LaDuff who finished 11th individually with a time of 23:52.19.

Belhaven Cross Country will compete next at the Mississippi College Invitational in Clinton, Miss. on Saturday, October 12th.
