New Orleans, LA- The Belhaven Women's Cross Country team finished sixth out of eight teams in the 5k run at Loyola University in New Orleans, LA on Saturday. The Blazers logged a team time of 2:15:59.94 while averaging 27:11.99 in the entire race.

Crossing the finish line first for the Blazers was Hannah Reese coming in 19th place overall out 50 runners with a time of 23:10.12. Following Reese at 32nd place was Sarah Storment clocking in a time of 25:01.25. Sarah Rivera and Sarah McCallister followed Storment coming in at 38th and 43th. Rivera clocked in at 27:20.29 while McCallister crossed the finished line with a time of 28:33.51.

Fans can catch the Blazers back in action on September 25; at the Southern Wesleyan Warrior Invitational in Central, SC. The race is set to begin at 9:00 a.m.
