MEMPHIS, Tenn. - The Belhaven Golf team began the fall portion of their 2025-26 season over the weekend, competing at the Rhodes Fall Invitational and finishing in 12th place. The Blazers scored the sixth-most birdies in the field with 37.
Gannon Williams led the way for the Blazers with three rounds of a 77-or-better on the scorecard to finish 29th overall at +13. Williams finished the back nine with a 5-under, 31, which included an eagle on the par-4 11th hole. He had two eagles in the tournament, tied for the most in the field.
Andrew Scherer finished the tournament at +16, highlighted by a 76 (+4) in Round 3 to finish 37th overall. Freshman Andrew Rogers carded three consecutive 77's (+21) to place third on the Belhaven leaderboard and 53rd overall in his first career collegiate golf tournament.
Levi Turner tallied a +28, and John McIntosh rounded out the Blazers' contingent with a total score of +33.
Belhaven returns to the course on October 6-7 for the West Pines Collegiate. The tournament will be hosted at the West Pines Golf Club in Douglasville, Ga.
