ATLANTA, Ga. -
Neal Terry of the Belhaven Men's Track and Field program was named the Collegiate Conference of the South Field Athlete of the Meet at the CCS Track & Field Championships and earned the league's Overall Men's Track & Field Athlete of the Year as announced by the CCS on Friday. This is the second straight season that Terry has earned these honors.
Terry put together another dominant showing at the CCS Track & Field Championships picking up three conference championships across the two-day event. The Mississippi native took the top spot in the High Jump, Long Jump and Triple Jump while taking second place in the Pole Vault.
Across the season, Terry won the Long Jump event at four different meets and earned numerous top five finishes across the Long Jump, High Jump and Triple Jump. Terry also currently ranks as a national qualifier in the High Jump and Long Jump while posting the high season marks for the CCS in both events as well as the Triple Jump.
