Belhaven Athletics Announces 2025 Hall of Fame Class

JACKSON, Miss. - The Belhaven Athletics Department is proud to announce the Blazers' 2025 Hall of Fame class. This year's class is comprised of five former student-athletes, one of whom is being inducted as a coach, representing four of Belhaven's 17 intercollegiate athletics programs. This year's honorees will be inducted into the Belhaven Athletics Hall of Fame on Saturday, October 25th as part of this year's Homecoming festivities. 

The Belhaven Athletics Hall of Fame Class of 2025 is as follows: 

Jefferson Nino, Men's Tennis 

Jefferson Nino was a star student-athlete for the Men's Tennis program from 2012-15, featuring on some of the most successful teams the program has had in its illustrious history. Nino was a four-time NAIA All-America Honorable Mention, receiving the national honor each of his four seasons competing for the Blazers. Additionally, he was named to the All-SSAC Second Team in each of his four seasons with Belhaven while helping the program to four straight NAIA National Tournament Appearances showcasing his impact on the successes of the program.

Lance St. Amant, Men's Basketball & Men's Tennis 

Lance St. Amant was a two-sport athlete for the Blazers from 1987-91 competing for both the Belhaven Men's Basketball team and Men's Tennis team. As a part of the Men's Tennis program, St. Amant was named to the All-GCAC Singles and Doubles teams in three consecutive seasons spanning from 1989-91. He was a part of four All-GCAC Championship teams as well during his tennis career. On the basketball court, St. Amant ranks as the program's all-time assists leader with 449 and is top five in steals all-time with 159 showcasing his prowess as a two-way player. 

Tiffany Ansley, Softball 

Tiffany Ansley was a standout for the Belhaven Softball program from 2007-10, helping to solidify multiple NAIA National Tournament teams. Ansley was an NAIA All-America Honorable Mention in 2009 and was twice named an NFCA All-East Region player receiving the honor in both 2009 and 2010. In 2007, Ansley was named the GCAC Freshman of the Year and was named an All-GCAC player in 2009 and 2010. She helped the Blazers to the 2010 GCAC Regular Season Championship. All-time, Ansley ranked in the top five in program history in nearly every offensive category as well as games played for the Blazers. 

Lauren Biediger, Softball 

Lauren Biediger was an impact player for Belhaven Softball from 2007-08 helping the Blazers to an NAIA Region XIII Tournament appearance and receiving multiple national honors. Biediger was named an NFCA First Team All-American in 2008 and an NAIA Second Team All-American in the same year. She was named to the GCAC All-Tournament team in 2007 and the GCAC All-Conference team in 2008. Biediger ranks top five all-time in batting average, home runs, slugging percentage and on-base percentage with her 2008 campaign ranking as one of the best single-seasons offensively in program history. 

Levi Patton, Men and Women's Tennis 

Levi Patton was the Head Coach of the Belhaven Men's and Women's Tennis teams for nine seasons spanning from 2008-16 and also competed for the Blazers as a student-athlete from 2003-04. Patton oversaw some of the most successful seasons in recent history for the Tennis program having had both teams in the NAIA Top 25 at different points throughout his tenure. In 2012, Patton led the Men's Tennis team to the NAIA National Touranment where they reached the round of 16, the first time the program had reached that point under the NAIA's postseason team format. Patton amassed over 200 wins at the helm of both Belhaven Tennis teams with one of the highest winning percentages in program history.  

The five individuals who comprise the 2025 class were selected based on nominations received, and voted on, by the Blazers' Hall of Fame committee.
