DALTON, Ga. - The second round of the CCS Men's Golf Championship is in the books and
Gannon Williams was joined by first year player
John McIntosh in leading the Blazers on day two of the three day event.
Williams, who currently sits 12th among individuals, carded a 76 (+4) on Tuesday to post the lowest score of the day for the Blazers for the second straight round. Through 36 holes, Williams sits just 8-over with back-to-back 76 rounds on his scorecard.
John McIntosh was close behind Williams on the day as the freshman bounced back from his Monday 83 (+11) to card a 77 (+5) that propelled him into the top 20 among individuals. He is joined in the overall leaderboard by teammate
Andrew Scherer who shot 80 (+8) for the second straight round in the tournament.
As a team, the Blazers sit 6th overall with a two-round score of 631 and are just seven shots off 5th place Maryville headed into Wednesday's final round.
Levi Turner will tee off first tomorrow for the Blazers as he will hit the first tee box at 7:00 AM Central.
