ATLANTA, Ga. - Belhaven senior forward
Savannah Hailey (Centreville, Miss.) has been named the Collegiate Conference of the South (CCS) Offensive Player of the Week, the league office announced Monday.
Hailey helped lead the Blazers to a 2-0 start to the 2025-26 season. The senior standout averaged 18.0 points, 11.0 rebounds, and 3.5 assists per game while shooting 57 percent from the field over Belhaven's opening weekend victories.
She opened the year with a career-high 26 points and 13 rebounds in a 103-78 win over MUW, marking the fifth-highest single-game point total in program history and the third double-double of her collegiate career. Hailey followed that up with another efficient outing in Belhaven's 90-49 win at Dallas, adding 10 points, nine rebounds, three assists, and two steals in just 17 minutes of action.
Through two games, Hailey has been the centerpiece of a Belhaven offense averaging 96.5 points per game, while the Blazers have outscored opponents by a combined 66 points.
Hailey and the Blazers return home to Jackson this week for their home opener at Rugg Arena on Wednesday at 5:30 p.m. against Southeastern Baptist.
