BELTON, Texas - The Belhaven Golf team wrapped up their trip to the Lone Star State for the UMHB Invitational on Tuesday, finishing 8th among teams across the two-round event.
Gannon Williams led the way for Belhaven across the two-day tournament as he turned in a second round 76 (+6) after posting a 72 on the opening day. Williams, who finished 8-over in total, placed 19th overall among individuals.
Andrew Scherer carded an identical 76 (+6) on Tuesday as he kept a consistent performance after his opening round 77 (+7) on Monday.
Ashton Anderson finished just one shot behind Scherer overall as he followed Monday's 76 (+6) with a 78 (+8) that put him 14-over across 36 holes.
The Blazers' top performer on Tuesday was
Jordyn Raymond who bounced back from an opening round 85 (+5) to turn in a 74 (+4) and finish 19-over for the tournament. Raymond rounded out the counting scores for Belhaven on Tuesday.

Belhaven returns to the course on October 7th and 8th as they travel to Georgia for the West Pines Collegiate hosted by Oglethorpe.
