JACKSON - Belhaven Athletics is excited to announce Kenneth Nash has been named the Blazers' Assistant Athletic Director for Athletics Communications and Sports Information.

"Kenneth brings such talent and creativity to our communication efforts, and this role is a recognition of his influence", said Belhaven Director of Athletics Scott Little. "He has made us better and I look forward to where we grow from here."

Nash previously has served as the Director of Athletics Communications and Sports Information since February of 2023 and now steps into the Assistant Athletics Director role which adds administrative responsibilities to those of his former role. Leading the Athletics Communications department, Nash oversees the promotion and coverage of Belhaven Athletics while also serving as the Sports Information primary contact for all sports.

Under Nash, the Athletics Communication staff is responsible for the maintaining of historical data and records for Belhaven Athletics, creation of content for both social media and the Belhaven website, the production of home Belhaven Athletics broadcasts and official NCAA statistics for all home events. Nash also serves as the primary voice of Blazers' Basketball, Baseball, Softball and Soccer on the Blazers' Sports Network.

A Texas native, Nash previously served as the Blazers' Coordinator of Digital Media and Broadcasting from August 2021 to February 2023. His career with Belhaven Athletics came in August of 2019 where he began as a Graduate Assistant in the Athletics Communications department. 

Alongside Nash, the Athletic Communications department features Spencer Wright, the Blazers' Coordinator of Digital Media, who serves as the lead creative for the Athletic Department.
