NEW ORLEANS, La. - Multiple members of the Belhaven Men's Track & Field team earned recognition from the USTFCCCA (United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association) after being named to the All-South Region team as announced by the organization.
Kelsey Singleton,
Neal Terry,
Devin Moore, and
Justice Moore all were recognized with the honor.
Kelsey Singleton was named an All-South Region student-athlete in two events, recognized as a part of the Blazers' 4 x 100 Meter Relay team as well as earning honors as an individual in the 400 Meters. Singleton qualified for the NCAA Division III Outdoor Track & Field Championships in both the 400 Meters and 200 Meters this spring. The Missisippi native turned in a bronze medal performance in the 400 Meter at the NCAA Championships, the highest-ever individual event finish for the Belhaven Men at the national meet.
Neal Terry earned All-South Region recognition in three events as he caps off a breakout season for the Blazers. Terry was named All-Region in the Long Jump, Triple Jump and High Jump while earning NCAA Championships qualification in the Long Jump and Triple Jump. Terry highlighted his season at the CCS Championships where he won four event titles and was named the Men's Performer of the Meet.
Devin Moore and
Justice Moore all joined Singleton in being named All-South Region for their roles in the success of the Belhaven Men's 4 x 100 Meter Relay team. The quarter of Blazers set a new program record in the event at the Rhodes 7-Way Meet in April with a time of 41.32 seconds.
