JACKSON, Miss. – The Belhaven Athletic Department is proud to announce the 2023 Hall of Fame class. The group of 2023 inductees is comprised of six former student-athletes across four different Belhaven sports all of whom will be formally inducted into the Athletics Hall of Fame as part of Homecoming activities on Saturday, October 21, 2023.
 
The Belhaven Athletics Hall of Fame Class of 2023 is as follows (listed alphabetically):
 
Graylin Allison, Football – Record-setting Wide Receiver for the Blazers from 2004-07 who sits as the program's all-time leader in Receptions (269), Receiving Yards (3,780) and Receiving Touchdowns (30); Named to three All-Mid-South Conference First Team Offense's as well as being a 2004 NAIA All-America Honorable Mention
 
Brandon Beasley, Football – Game-changing Defensive Lineman who anchored a stout Belhaven defense from 2001-04; Ranks among top-three in Career Tackles (283), Tackles for Loss (57) and Sacks (31.5) while holding program's single-season record for Tackles for Loss (25.5) and Sacks (14.5) both coming in the 2003 campaign; Named to two All-Mid-South Conference First Team Defenses
 
Sarah Burns, Softball – Shutdown Pitcher for Belhaven from 2008-11 who ranks as the program's all-time Wins leader (83) while also holding the career records for Appearances (128), Complete Games (75), Shutouts (26), Strikeouts (757) and Saves (5); Ranks 3^rd in career ERA (1.71) and Batting Average Against (.200); Named to NAIA All-America Second Team twice, NFCA All-America Second Team twice and NFCA All-East Region twice
 
Regena Jackson, Women's Basketball – Offensive creator who is among the program's 1000-point scorer's club (1,141) while also ranking inside the top 10 in Career Assists (271) while playing for the Blazers from 2010-12; Set the single-season scoring average record in 2011-12 (24.0 ppg) and sits 2^nd in single-season points (745) from the same season; Named an NAIA All-American twice with a First Team nod in 2011-12
 
Christina Jaques, Softball – Offensive slugger for Belhaven from 2010-11 who sits as the all-time leader in career Batting Average (.464) while also ranking in the top five all-time in Triples (13), Stolen Bases (105), Slugging Percentage (.726), Home Runs (19) and RBI (102); Named to NAIA All-America Second Team twice, NFCA All-America Second Team twice and NFCA All-East Region twice
 
Thomas Royals, Baseball – Two-way player for the Blazers from 2006-07 who was named the Gulf Coast Athletic Conference Player of the Year in both of his seasons at Belhaven; Sits 5^th in Career Batting Average (.401); Sits 2^nd in single-season hits (91) and doubles (25) offensively while also ranking 2^nd in single-season shutouts (3) and ERA (1.98) all of which came in 2007
 
The six individuals who comprise the 2023 class were selected based on input from university alumni, current and former coaches, and administrators.
 
Full length biographies of each inductee will be released over the coming weeks ahead of Belhaven Homecoming and their induction.
