Box Score 1 | Box Score 2 CONWAY, Ark. - The Belhaven Baseball team dropped a pair of one-run affairs to Hendrix in a twin bill on Friday. The Blazers lost the opener 3-2 before falling 8-7 in walk-off fashion in the second game of the doubleheader.

GAME ONE

Hendrix struck first in the bottom of the second inning with a two-run home run, but Belhaven responded the next half-inning as Aubrey Gathright singled in a run to make the score 2-1 in favor of the Warriors. The hosts got that run back in the bottom half of the third thanks to an RBI double.
 
Belhaven would strike again in the sixth inning as Matthew Charbonnet singled through the right side to score Gathright to draw within a run. Kyle McLaughlin reached base as the tying run in the ninth, but a flyout secured a 3-2 win for Hendrix.

GAME TWO

The Blazers opened the scoring in the top of the second courtesy of a Caleb Whittle single to right. Belhaven added three more in the following frame thanks to RBIs from Whittle, James Muse, and Aubrey Gathright. A Dawson Albin double and a Nathan Herron groundout plated the Blazers' sixth and seventh runs of the contest.

The Warriors began to chip away with an RBI double in the fourth before tacking on two more in the fifth. A sac fly and an RBI single in the bottom of the sixth cut the Blazers' lead to 7-5.

Hendrix was able to draw even with a two-run single in the eighth before walking it off in the bottom of the ninth for an 8-7 win.
