JACKSON, Miss. – Connor Fordham of the Belhaven Football team was named to the D3football.com Team of the Week following his break out performance against Brevard College this past Saturday. The Blazers completed the historic 20-7 victory to capture their first eight-win season in program history.

Fordham led the Blazers defense with a career high 15 total tackles and 0.5 tackles for loss. Additionally, the Wedowee, Ala. native posted two blocked punts, which both led to touchdowns for the Blazers in the 20-7 win over Brevard. On the year, Fordham has 68 total tackles, 8.0 TFL, 3.5 sacks, and four blocks in his senior campaign.

Fordham and the rest of the Blazers will return to action for Senior Day on Saturday, November 12 against Maryville College Scots in the final conference game of the regular season. Kickoff is set for 12:00 p.m. inside the Bowl.
