MINNEAPOLIS – Belhaven senior linebacker
Wyatt Beck added another historic honor to his résumé, becoming the first player in program history to be named a D3football.com All-American.
Beck's Fourth Team All-American selection adds to an already decorated senior campaign. He was named USA South Defensive Player of the Year, earned First Team All-USA South honors, was selected First Team All-Region III by D3Football.com, and represented Belhaven as a nominee for the 2025 C Spire Conerly Trophy.
The D3football.com All-America team, now in its 27th season, is one of two All-America honor officially recognized by the NCAA, along with the AFCA.
Beck led the USA South Conference during the regular season with 85 total tackles in 10 games. He also recorded eight tackles for loss totaling 32 yards and added 2.5 sacks for 17 yards. He also pressured opposing quarterbacks six times.
In conference play, Beck continued to set the tone defensively. He ranked third in the league with 57 total tackles, including 6.5 tackles for loss, while serving as the centerpiece of a defense that helped Belhaven post a 5-2 USA South record. The Blazers finished the season with a 6-4 overall record.
