ROME, Ga. – The Belhaven University golf team concluded the first day of the Chick-Fil-A Intercollegiate on Monday afternoon. As a team, the Blazers currently sit 14^th overall after shooting 316 (+28) in the opening round of the Chick-Fil-A Intercollegiate.

Senior Luke Couch led the Green and Gold finishing T-23^rd after shooting 76 (+4) in the first round of the tournament. Additionally, Couch finishes the day with four birdies on the back nine.

Ashton Anderson and Merrick Rotolo finished T-51^st in round one with a score of 79 (+7). Freshman Gannon Williams concluded round one with a score of 82, while Andrew Scherer carded a score of 83 (+11) on the first day.

The Blazers will return to the course for Day Two of the Chick-Fil-A Intercollegiate on Tuesday in Rome, Ga. The Blazers will get started around 8:00 AM CST.
