Box Score CLARKSVILLE, Ark. - The Belhaven Baseball team fell on the road at University of the Ozarks on Friday in the series finale of their ASC match up. The Eagles knocked off the Blazers by a 5-3 final score.
In the game, Ozarks took a commanding lead early after Luke Morrison hit a grand slam in the bottom of the first inning. Trailing 4-0, the Blazers got a run back in the top of the second inning on a sac fly from
Reed Bolton and trimmed the hosts' lead to 2 runs when
Trip Benson reached on a fielder's choice with bases loaded.
In the fifth inning Belhaven cut the Eagles' lead to just one on a sacrifice fly from Benson but Ozarks was able to get the run right back in the home half of the frame.
Belhaven challenged late with a a pair of runners in scoring position in the eighth inning but were unable to capitalize.

Beau Louviere falls to 3-2 on the season with the loss after going eight innings and allowing five runs on nine hits.
Hunter White led the way at the plate for the Blazers finishing the game 3-5 with a run scored.
Trip Benson finished 0-3 but with a pair of RBI.
The series loss represents the first ASC series dropped by the Blazers this season and Belhaven moves to 10-4 in conference play on the year.
