GLADEWATER, Texas - The Belhaven Golf team wrapped up play at the Tempest Intercollegiate tournament at the Tempest Golf Club in Gladewater, Texas on Tuesday. 

As a group, the Blazers placed 9th among the 11 teams competing and finished with a score of 944 (+80) across the entire three rounds of play. Belhaven finished just 10 shots off 8th place Howard Payne.

The Blazers were led by Freshman Crue Baldwin who finished +18 in the tournament and placed t-36th among individuals. Baldwin's strong finish was helped by a good third round on Tuesday in which he finished just +3 over par.

Collin Duplechain and Will Justice both finished t-47th in the tournament with three round scores of 237 (+21). Duplechain also had a strong final round for Belhaven finishing +4 in the third round. Justice had a stellar second round for the Blazers finishing +1 on the day.

Luke Couch posted a +24 across the two-day tournament which placed him t-49th among individuals while Jantzen Hilbun and Ashton Anderson finished +40 and +42 respectively to round out the Blazers squad.

Belhaven will return to action on Oct. 18-19 when they travel to Thackerville, Okla. to compete in the Crusader Invitational.
