RICHARDSON, Texas – Belhaven women's basketball player Janae Collier was named the ASC East Player of the Week following her performance on the hardwood on Tuesday against cross-town rival Millsaps College.
 
Collier led the Blazers with a career-high 20 points and went 5-for-10 from behind the arc.  Additionally, she was perfect from the charity stripe, grabbed five rebounds, and had four steals.
 
On the season, the Brandon, Miss. native averages 11.8 points per game and leads the team shooting 42.9 percent from three-point range.

Collier and the rest of the Blazers will have the week off before returning to the hardwood on Monday, December 17 against Centre College in Atlanta, Ga. Tip-off is set for 4:00 p.m.
