RICHARDSON, Texas - The American Southwest Conference (ASC) office has announced this week that Belhaven's David Hall and Evan Moore were selected to the ASC Baseball Preseason Watch List on Wednesday afternoon.

David Hall made 13 appearances on the mound for the Blazers during the 2018 season. He led the blazers pitching staff with a 4.71 ERA, while pitching a total of 65 innings. The Athens, Ala. native struck out a total of 46 batters and pitched in three complete games. The junior only allowed two homeruns on the season.

Evan Moore, a key returner for the Green and Gold, posted a .297 batting average and scored 23 runs for the Blazers during his freshman campaign. The Alpharetta, Ga. native tallied four doubles, 33 hits, 13 RBI, 37 total bases, and recorded a .333 slugging percentage. Additionally, Moore finished the season with an on base percentage of .373.

The Blazers will open its 2019 season against LeTourneau University at Smith Wills Stadium in Jackson, Miss. on Friday, February 8 in the Belhaven/Millsaps Tournament.  First pitch is set for 4:00 p.m.
