"Erika LeFlore had unbelievable game and battled all the way to the end," said Belhaven Head Coach Rusty Cram. "We played without Tashayla Steede and our bench struggled so that hurt us today."

Erika LeFlore posted her second straight double-double with a game-high 20 rebounds and 23 points, second only to teammate Ariel Wilson. Wilson connected on 12 of her 17 shots while leading all scorers with 29 points. The two combined for 52 of the team's 66 points.

Leflore came into Saturday's game with 967 career points and the 23 point performance against Spring Hill leaves her just 10 points shy of 1000. She'll have a chance to reach that mark on Thursday night at Bethel.

Spring Hill countered with four players in double figures, highlighted by Elissa VandeWaa's 14. Bethany Collins, Natalie Harper, and Sha Sha Buchanan added 12, 10 and 10 respectively. Buchanan finished her day one rebound shy of a double-double, while Camry Johnson and Corinne Missi grabbed eight each.

Belhaven shot 33% from the field, including an impressive 23-28 from the free throw line. Spring Hill shot 39% from the floor, while connecting on 14 of 19 from the charity stripe.

The Lady Badgers sunk six of their 20 attempted three pointers, while their guests shot just 1-6. The Badgers also took a slight edge on the glass, as Spring Hill out-rebounded Belhaven 50-48.

The Blazers return to action on Thursday with a road trip to McKenzie, Tennessee. The SSAC matchup with Bethel University is slated for a 5:30 PM tipoff.
