Final Results
NASHVILLE, Tenn. – The Belhaven men's golf team battled less than ideal conditions en route to an 8th place finish in the Trevecca Nazarene University Spring Invitational. The players battled snow flurries and high winds over the course of the two day event. The Blazers turned in a score of 670 while Union University (TN) and Tennessee Wesleyan tied for the top spot at 615. Union won the title in a one hole team playoff.

Viktor Heurlin was Belhaven's low scorer with a two day total of 165, finishing 38th overall in the field of 68 players. Andrew Bartelt was tied for 44th with a score of 168 and Isaac Tipton was one stroke behind at 169 leading to a 46th place finish. Ian McAdams finished in a tie for 47th with a 170 and Joey Saia rounded out the field with a 174 and 58 place finish.

Jorge Benitez of Davenport (MI) won the individual tournament championship with a score of 150. Benitez shot 75 in both rounds of the tournament. There was a five way tie for second place in the tournament.

Belhaven will hit the course again on April 15th and 16th in the Southern States Athletic Conference Championships in Montgomery, Ala.
