WACO, Texas-Belhaven offensive lineman
Matt Hall has been selected to the 2013 American Football Coaches' Association NAIA All-American First Team, announced on Wednesday by the AFCA and the NAIA.
Hall, a senior from Yell County, Ark, anchored the right side of the offensive line which helped the Blazers average 387.9 yards per game on offense this season. Hall was also a Mid-South First Team All-Conference West Division selection when the awards were announced by the conference earlier this fall. Hall has spent the past two seasons with the Blazers and was a major factor in the Belhaven's offensive firepower in those two years.
In addition to the All-American and All-Conference honors, Hall was named as a finalist for the 2013 C Spire Conerly Trophy. The award is given each year to the player voted Mississippi's most outstanding college football player.
