Toccoa, GA-The Belhaven men's golf team opened the fall schedule on Monday and Tuesday at the Emmanuel College Invitational, finishing 9th in the field of 12 teams. Erskine College finished three strokes in front of Emmanuel to take home the tournament title.

Junior Viktor Heurlin was Belhaven's top individual finisher with a score of 161, landing him in a tie for 25th. Sophomore Alex Grote and senior Ian McAdams both turned in scores for 167. Sophomore Ike Tipton and freshman Andrew Bartelt completed the two rounds with scores of 169 and 170 respectively.

Joel Sawyer secured the individual tournament title with a score of 142 (-2).

Belhaven will be back on the course in the Millsaps College Invitational at Lake Caroline Golf Club in Madison, MS, October 21st and 22nd.
