Sea Island, GA- The Belhaven men's golf team kicked off their 2012 Spring season competing in the Coastal Georgia Invitational Monday and Tuesday afternoon finishing 10th out of 13 teams. Belhaven finished with a team score of 640 (+64). Darton Community College claimed the top spot in the invitational with a combined score of 581 (+5).

The Blazers Viktor Heurlin tied with two other competitors finishing in 37th place out of 82 players, claiming an overall score of 157 (+13). Heurlin shot a 78 in the first round and 79 in the second respectively. Alex Grote concluded the invitational with a 160 score. Ian Lovett claimed the 53rd spot as well four other competitors. Ian McAdams and Isaac Tipton finished in 71st place for the Blazers. Darton Community College's Joe Sakulpolphaisan notched the top spot individually with a score of 133 shooting 67 in the 1st round and a 66 in the 2nd round.

The Blazers will be back in action on March 3, 2012 when they travel to Mobile, AL to compete in the Spring Hill College Invitational.
